Mini 2 - Sonic CD OST?

[Released: 1988] The Sega Genesis was Sega's most successful console; though Sega has never released a total sales figure quote. Several add-ons were created including the Sega CD and Sega 32X which extended its capabilities.

Mini 2 - Sonic CD OST?

Anyone know if the Japanese ost will be included in the upcoming mini 2? The recent trailer had them playing the music from the NA soundtrack. I dont see why they wouldnt just use the NA CD version and just call it a day, but it would be a pretty bonehead move to not use the JP version.
Google hasn't been much help.
