How do you dedicate tasks to only one window?

How do you dedicate tasks to only one window?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Quick precursor, to test some of my coding skills I created a bot for a game that inputs key commands through Thonny(IDE) by using a plug in USB Raspberry Pi. The bot works great but if i do so much as click off the game, the key inputs are instead obviously focused on whatever window I switched to.
Is there any way to have thonny or really any sort of program that I could run this bot in to only focus its commands on the game window so I am free to do things with my computer otherwise?
I was thinking maybe possible with a virtual machine but, ehh, not really sure
