Can i power a Raspberry_pi off a Projectors USB port rated 5V /1.0 A?

Can i power a Raspberry_pi off a Projectors USB port rated 5V /1.0 A?

Hi there ,
I am hoping to figure out how to set up a raspberry pi as a media player and connect it to my projector via HDMI.
Ideally I would ditch a power cord by running the Raspberry PI off the projectors USB power output rated 5V/1.0A.
Will this be enough power or will I need to plug the Raspberry into the wall?
