Will the Genesis 2/MD Mini 2 have a language selector?

[Released: 1988] The Sega Genesis was Sega's most successful console; though Sega has never released a total sales figure quote. Several add-ons were created including the Sega CD and Sega 32X which extended its capabilities.

Will the Genesis 2/MD Mini 2 have a language selector?

I pre-ordered the Japanese MD Mini 2 for 103€ on Amazon JP before it sold out. I was wondering if there has been any confirmation of it working similar to the original Genesis Mini/MD Mini from 2019, where you could access both selections of JP and US games by switching the language, no matter the version you purchased. That is, unless I'm getting it all wrong?
