Trouble connecting pico w to internet.

I am currently trying to connect a pico w to the internet. When I try on my router I get the -2 wlan status code. I tried using my computers hot spot set to 2.4 GHz and it connected right away. I am trying to figure out how to tell my spectrum Wi-Fi 6 router to use the 2.4 GHz channel. I do not have access to the spectrum app unfortunately. Thank you for any help!
