Uses for older Raspberry Pi units (1B, 2, 3B)

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I've got a bunch of RPi units and with the price of the 4's so high I wanted to maximize my usage and ensure I'm putting all my older Pis to use.
Given these workloads, what's the lowest version Pi they can realistically run on?
  • BitWarden inside docker (Currently on a 4)
  • Unifi Controller (Currently in a Linux VM)
  • PiHole (Currently on a Pi 3)
  • Home Assistant (Currently on a 4)
