Weird problem with Sega Mega Drive Switchless Mod

Hey! Yesterday I tried modding my PAL Sega Mega Drive Model 2 VA1 with a Switchless Mod Kit from consolesunleashed: https://www.consolesunleashed.com/product/sega-mega-drive-model-2-switchless-region-in-game-reset-mod-kit/
At first everything worked fine and I had no problems switching through the different regions. But after around 10-15 minutes of testing the console it wouldn't let me switch through the regions and the reset button stopped working in general.
Today I tried the system again and it suddenly worked again without any problems, but after some testing the same thing happened again and the mod wouldn't work anymore. I resoldered everything again, but nothing seems to fix this issue:
