Help cleaning out 3ds touchscreen

So I recently opened up my new 3ds for the first time in a few years, but when I did it, my touchscreen was malfunctioning. I didn’t know why, but later I found out that there’s a piece of dust or something that’s stuck underneath the system’s shell, but close enough to the touchscreen to interfere with touch controls. I can try putting up a picture in the comments if it allows me, but I need help picking this thing out.
