Question about Project Eris + Retroarch and memory card saves

Post by /psxclassic »

I use Project Eris on my PS Classic, and I run the PS1 games in Retroarch (through the Project eris carousel launcher). I noticed that I have PS1 save games in my Retroarch saves folder, but I've also noticed that there are .mcd save files in the "Games" directory on my USB stick (where my PS1 games are stored). When I open a PS1 game through the Project Eris carousal and launch in Retroarch, does it save the memory card in the defined Retroarch save folder or does it save the memory card in the directory where my game images are stored?
