No vibration option on Metal Gear

I'm using project Eris 1.0.0 to access the Metal Gear game originally installed on my PSc. I'm using a 8BitDo with an original Dualshock 3 that is automatically detected on the menu and on the game. left analog stick seems to work but no vibration. not even the option appears on the game option menu.
What am I missing? do a need to change/update the game rom? do i need to activate any menu option?
