EmulationStation - N64 not booting

I can see all my games, but when I go to launch it goes black for a second and then back to my list.
Just installed Project Eris today for the first time and PSX games work fine. Just cannot seem to get any N64 to load. I've installed cores...not sure if it automatically selects them or what but I'm at a loss here
