50/60 mod

[Released: 1985] One of the most unusual features of the Sega Master System is its dual media inputs: one cartridge slot and one card slot. The card slot accepted small cards about the size of a credit card.

50/60 mod

So... Tried to mod my SMS2 RF PAL today, the AV mod was easy, then I tried the 50/60 mod and... snapped the leg (57)... now the unit is basically useless... Tip for others: don't try to remove the solder and pull the leg out, just cut it (and super gently lift it up).
On my way to ebay... must buy a new one!
