My New 3ds XL won’t turn on!

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

My New 3ds XL won’t turn on!

My 3ds was working perfectly fine this morning when I was playing it. I took a break to go get something to eat and when I came back it wouldn’t turn on. The blue light turns on to show that the 3ds is working but nothing happens with the screen. It stays black and I don’t know what to do. If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do can you please tell me because I don’t know if it is fully broken.
