Skill Dozer 2: major success!

A video game arcade cabinet, also known as a video arcade machine or video coin-op, is the housing within which a video arcade game's hardware resides. Most cabinets designed since the 1990's conform to the JAMMA wiring standard.

Skill Dozer 2: major success!

Post by /Arcade »

Ok so I tried the board out today. The bridge rectifier was the problem. After replacing it everything came to life. The Dozer works, coin door lights up and takes coins, everything. My only issue now is that the game is allows you to play without a coin in the game. So in essence you can play and potentially win without putting a coin in to play...
Though most people would say yay I don't have to find a free play function that doesn't help me. I am trying to get this game to function as it would normally.
Also I don't have any sound coming from the game when start is pressed and the dozer slows down when in play mode. I am wondering if that resistor that I said was missing may be the cause of some of these problems. How do I test my theory?
