How would you play your top 5 mod. Game?

Since I don’t know what is/ how to cross post. I’ll post here as well.
Hi guys. Hopefully this post does not create any problems if I mention certain words in here.
I know there have been many posts about “best jrpgs/ modified game â€￾ but I would like to ask you guys is mostly about THE best version possible ( again, I know people have different opinion but still I like to hear you all).
For ex: ( I’m not say this exists, just an example): “ FF4 has a romhack that makes the game perfect because the translation has been fixed, and the audio has also been modified and the game looks amazing.â€￾
I just made this up, just so you guys understand what extacly I’m trying to say.
An excelent game, where people changed it to make it even better.
Preferably top 5 JRPGs but if you have a mod game you believe it looks and plays so good, I also would like to hear your opinion. Zelda- like games are also a plus.
Please write the name of the game and what modifications made it look better. Thumbs up if you post a link ( homhacking link, for example).
Forgot to say: Preferably playable in a console instead of emulator.
