Is the new nintendo 2ds XL the same in perfomance as New nintendo 3ds XL?

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Just a question, i really want to buy a new nintendo 2 ds XL, since my original 2ds is broken, i want to transfer my data from the broken 2ds to the new 2ds, but i want to know something:
