Broken Wii console :(

So, I found my old Wii console under some dust in my younger brother's room and decided to plink around with it. Only problem is I forgot that I broke my console around a decade ago. I remembered putting in a pirated Wii game in my console, and after that, my other Wii games wouldn't read from the console. I did some work and busted the console open. Nothing seemed too fishy at first glance. From there, I concluded that either the hard drive or the disc reader was damaged, although I'm not sure of my claims.
