I am having an issue with my 25" K7000 monitor, I believe the Red colour is washed out I have attached samples below.
What I have done so far is recapped the board (including the B+) and tried the neck board colour adjustments.
The next steps I am looking at before possibly buying a CRT rejuve machine from ebay is replacing the Q201, Q202, Q203 transistors on the neck board, and replacing the fly back.
My questions are:
1. Are these good next steps or am I wasting my time?
2. Is there something I need to watch out for as far as fly backs go? (i.e. Twisty Wrist says the 053X0528-001 doesn't fit the Zenith K7000 which I have though none of the other sites say anything about that)
3. If I need to go the tube rejuve route what do I need to look out for so the machine I buy is compatible with my 25" Zenith tube?
