JPN Wii Voltage?

Post by /Wii »

Hello everyone,

So sorry if this question has been asked before. I recently bought a Wii from Japan, RVL-001 JPN Model. Would it be unsafe to use this Wii in a country with 120V 60HZ? I know Japan has different V and HZ levels, and I am not a professional so I am a little lost here. I have also tried to research and most websites and forums say that it will fry the Wii? Not entirely sure if I need a converter or if I don't.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!
