Non-VGA Compatible Game Workarounds/Solutions?

[Released: 1998] Born out of Sega's darkest hour to decide whether the company stays in the hardware business. Even though it didn't officially last long in the US, it was continued selling in Japan and spawned some great 2D Japanese shooters.

Non-VGA Compatible Game Workarounds/Solutions?

Post by /dreamcast »

Been casually collecting games here and there for a while now and never been much of a stickler for visual quality; I use a POUND HDMI adapter to connect to an internal Elgado HD60 capture card so I can play through my monitors and stream for friends. It's worked fine until now.

I just got Evolution 1 & 2 in the mail from eBay and it turns out the first game is not VGA cable compatible. Doing my own research has gotten me pretty confused as to what wound and wouldn't be compatible with my capture card setup, so I'm asking for some input here.

What can I do/buy to get around this problem? Leaning towards cheaper solutions, but I'm all ears nonetheless.
