Install CIOS on vWii without Wiimote?

[Released: 2012] The WiiU is the first Nintendo console to support high-definition graphics and a controller which features an embedded touchscreen. Talk about the system which is backward compatible with Wii.

I am trying to install CIOS to vWii on my Wii U; my end goal is to install Fakemote to vWii and use PS4 controller I don't have a physical Wii Remote, so I use Wiimote Emulator instead

It works fine on the Wii U menu, the Wii menu, and in the Homebrew Channel. But as soon as I open the d2x CIOS installer - the console doesn't recognize any input anymore, even though WiimoteEmulator is synced with the console.
