Older Ubuntu on Raspberry Pi 5

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hello, I was uncertain over whether to ask this in the Ubuntu Reddit or the Raspberry pi one so apologies is this is not the correct space. I have been developing with ROS2 for a bit on a raspberry pi 4 and recently bought a couple pi 5's for increased performance. only after I bought them did I realize they did not support ubuntu 22.04. (ROS2 humble only works on ubuntu 22) is there any way to somehow port an older ubuntu version to the pi 5? Attached is a link to some people talking about it but I am unsure what he actually did. Thanks for any help! https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=359566
