Change Kernel on raspberry pi 4

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hi guys,

I am currently working on a raspberry pi with Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. For a project I want to change the kernel to another version for it to be realtime capable. Which seemed pretty easy with Ubuntu Pro. But having the Pi boot up from a SD-Card it has no bootloader (e.g. grub) so I cannot really change the kernel that way. Any other suggestions? Do I need to seperately install a new Kernel on the SD and if so, how?

Thanks!!!
