Hello! I am looking to (hopefully) create a goal light for my dad. However, this is my first time messing around with electrical components on a RPI so definitely looking to learn more here. I have the code to test, and the hardware but i'm running into some issues hopefully someone here can help.
Hardware :
- LED beacon light : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R55YT44/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- Raspberry Pi 3 B+
- Power Relay : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CZL2SKN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have the wires connected to relay 1 which map to GPIO 26 (tested this and the light for relay 1 turns on successfully) but the lights on the beacon light do not & wires of the beacon going into the power relay as follows :
- NO1 -> Red AC 110/220V
- C1 -> Black Common
- NC1 -> Brown AC/DC 24V.
The white AC/DC 12V cable is not connected since, from what i've read is not needed if i'm using the brown cable.
For those of you that have done this before, what am I missing / doing incorrectly here?
