Issues w/ siren not going on but relay does

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hello! I am looking to (hopefully) create a goal light for my dad. However, this is my first time messing around with electrical components on a RPI so definitely looking to learn more here. I have the code to test, and the hardware but i'm running into some issues hopefully someone here can help.

Hardware :

I have the wires connected to relay 1 which map to GPIO 26 (tested this and the light for relay 1 turns on successfully) but the lights on the beacon light do not & wires of the beacon going into the power relay as follows :
  • NO1 -> Red AC 110/220V
  • C1 -> Black Common
  • NC1 -> Brown AC/DC 24V.

The white AC/DC 12V cable is not connected since, from what i've read is not needed if i'm using the brown cable.

For those of you that have done this before, what am I missing / doing incorrectly here?
