No applicable update data was found

Hi there, please I need some help. I have been trying to install HFW 4.90.1 on a PS3 slim CECH-2504B and it keeps saying no applicable update data was found. I made sure flash drive was formatted to FAT33 using Rufus and I put the update file into PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP.

For context, it recognises EVILNAT CFW 4.88, but cannot install as it says the update file is corrupted. I have done all I can, but I'm totally stumped. Would appreciate any help I can get.
