Has anyone considered trying the new Bitfunx component cables?

[Released: 1998] Born out of Sega's darkest hour to decide whether the company stays in the hardware business. Even though it didn't officially last long in the US, it was continued selling in Japan and spawned some great 2D Japanese shooters.

First of all, I know they have a bad reputation for ripping off others designs and I don't know if that's also the case with these cables, but I have been waiting forever for them to be back in stock on the Retro Gaming Cables website (and even longer for the HD Retrovision cables, which I'm convinced are never coming out) so I decided I would try these out in the meantime to see how they look on both a component CRT and with an upscaler on a HDTV.

All I have for my Dreamcast right now is composite and VGA, and no CRT that has VGA ports, so I have been stuck with VGA on a LCD monitor. I really want to see how these will make it look on a CRT and hiw much better it will look on LCD with an upscaler. I figured they are cheap enough that even if it only improves slightly it will be worth it until RGC gets more made for purchase.

As far as LCD goes it doesn't seem like there is much in the way of reliable HD options, everything I read says it's not the best image and has latency so I didn't want to go that route.
