Is there any specific parts I need to replace the lens or laser of my Dreamcast?

As of about 30 minutes ago, my Dreamcast suddenly went from having trouble booting games, but reading audio CDs just fine, to outright not even detecting the presence of a disc. We're talking a near instantaneous shift. If I were to replace whatever part is necessary, would I need specific parts, or would regular disc drive parts be fine?

I know everyone 's default answer is to switch to GDEMU, but I don't ever want to give up physical media. Actually placing a cart/disc in a console is just far more satisfying than selecting a file from a menu.
