CD-R Burning Question

Hello everyone,

This may have been asked a lot here, but are there any recommendations for a CD-R brand for burning Dreamcast games?

Also, is there anything to know when burning games? Like burn speed, program used, etc?

Lastly, does playing backups off a burned disc wear out the laser reader faster than official discs?

I have read other threads about this, but I'm not sure if there's any updates to the methods recently.
