A friend of mine is struggling with pi 400 app images

A friend of mine was trying to install better-kirka client. So far what I have instructed them to do was install fuse3 and it’s dependencies, appimage launcher, and obviously to make the file executable. This is an ARM64 file but we are still struggling to get the Appimage to work. What I have done so far is use the stack overflow thread on the issue, found here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1371389/appimage-wont-run-on-raspberry-pi-4-with-ubuntu-20-04 ; when they launch the app they just get a grey box app box. Any advice?
