RaspPI 4 - android auto h264 decode problem (KMS/FKMS)

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hi!

I started on a project with RPI 4b and Openauto PRO (car headunit). The problem is my LCD. This DSI lcd that i bought needs KMS video drivers to display correctly (otherwise blank, just backlight). But Openauto Pro software needs FKMS from, as i have deducted, uses a h264 (probably hardware) decoder. The intro splash and the Androidauto stream are not showing (both h264).

The problem is that i don`t have drivers for the screen compatible with FKMS, but using other software based on Openauto, and all worked, using KMS (androidauto stream and etc).

So... how might i approach this as i want to stick with this LCD (perfect fit and resoltuion)...

Thanks!
