is anyone with wayland enabled _actually_ on wayland?

The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board computers developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote the teaching of basic computer science in schools and developing countries.

I was debugging as to why when enabling wayland with raspi-config it would break autologin when I found out that even after logging in manually loginctl would print the session as Type=x11 (reproduce: loginctl, look at the session number that is the non-root user's that isn't tty which I'll call #, and then loginctl show-session # -p Type).

Is anyone who has wayland enabled actually sure they're running on wayland?
