7.3 inch waveshare e-ink display "busy"-Error

Hi all,

I'm trying to get my waveshare 7.3 inch, 7 color e-ink display from waveshare working.

It's not working as I'm getting the (widely known) "e-paper busy" error.

The behaviour is a bit different whether I'm using the manual 8pin or 40pin connection.

I found this (https://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/comments/rlv5h1/issue_with_75_inch_waveshare_epaper/) thread, but that seems not to be helping me, as I installed raspbian and checked the pins multiple times.

Anyone else got an idea?Can it be a faulty HAT?
