pokémon trade evolutions in 208 in 1

i’m playing pokémon white 2 and tried trading 3 pokémon to evolve them with items electabuzz , seadra, and magmar i traded them with the item but it didn’t evolve them so i’m wondering if the devs for the hack changed something is there a good place to look for a solution
