need help with pico!

so i got the euler kit for raspberry pi picco kit. https://docs.sunfounder.com/projects/euler-kit/en/latest/pyproject/python_start/install_micropython_pico.html

in those steps i get stuck. when installing the firmware when its almost complete the pico just dissapears from my computer and when i turn it back on the file is not installed. i even tried to install it manualy by copy and paste but it still turns off. how do i fix this? im a complete novice at this and just want to learn technical stuff
