Did the cloud exist on 360? If so, How do I know if my game saved to the cloud when I used to play on 360?

I played a lot of games on 360 would like to know if they saved to the cloud or how I Would know. I’ve played backwards compatible 360 games on the Xbox one and I never noticed any previous saved games on those games.
