Can someone explain me the different types of cases for ps2 games?

Hi, first things first: I'm a new collector that just want to learn about the video game that he love, and, english is not my major language so please forgive me for any mistakes
So recently I was looking to buy some MGS games but I came across a bunch of different types of cases and I got lost! I knew that the majority of black label games have a case with the "Memory Card Holder" in it, but I saw a lot of them without it! Does the Black Label games ALWAYS have the "Memory Card Holder" or nah? Please, help me.
