Checking Xbox Game Code?

Hi, I received a game code from a friend to redeem for a video game.
I asked what the game was but he did not tell me (it's been a long while since I have gotten a response.) Is there any other way to check what the game is?
I just want to be sure I don't input the code and it downloads automatically, I want to know what the game is so I can sell/give it to someone else if I am not interested in the game.
Also, does anyone have experience selling these codes? A specific website maybe?
