GB Player question- anyone heard of getting a GBAccelorator to work with it?

[Released: 2001] The GameCube, with the Game Boy Player attachment, it is able to play Game Boy/Color, and Game Boy Advance titles. It's successor, the Wii, supports backward compatibility. Panasonic released a DVD player hybrid Gamecube.

GB Player question- anyone heard of getting a GBAccelorator to work with it?

The GBAccelorator is a mod-chip that installs in a GBA to let you speed up the clock, so games play faster.
I've been trying to find out if anyone knows/has tried installing it in a GB player, since a GBplayer is basically a GBA? Or if anyone knows why that would be impossible?
