mw2 (2022) can't access local multiplayer

mw2 (2022) can't access local multiplayer

I have a disc version of mw2 on xbox. I have an xbox one and I am trying to play local multiplayer on my console but every time I try to access local multiplayer the game pops up a message and say installing but nothing happens. I have tried leaving it for a bit and seeing what happens and nothing changes.
Is there a bug or a content pack I need to download to access multiplayer?
