DualSense Edge Controller Pre-Order Available Now on PlayStation Direct

The DualSense Edge controller is on sale on PlayStation Direct. To purchase it, you must sign in with your PSN account. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like there’s a purchase limit, so we can assume Sony doesn’t anticipate supply issues.

While the DualSense Edge is only available on PlayStation Direct, for now, we assume it’ll come to other retailers at some point after its January 26, 2023, release date.
A first-party pro controller is something PlayStation fans have been asking for since the Xbox Elite was released for the Xbox One. Up to this point, players have had to turn to companies like Defy Gaming or SCUF for a premium PlayStation gamepad. Still, Sony is finally filling that niche with the DualSense Edge.
The Edge is reminiscent of the Xbox Elite controller and features interchangeable analog stick caps and two customizable rear buttons. It also allows you to set the travel distance of your triggers for faster activation. Fortunately, the controller retains all standard DualSense functionality as well. So, you don’t have to sacrifice haptic feedback or adaptive triggers.
