Gameboy Micro A Button Fix

I just recently received a gameboy micro which I have been wanting for years. The only issue it has is that the A button needs to be held down half a second to a second to get it to register. Every other button works perfectly fine. Would there be an easy fix for this issue? I’ve deconstructed and re-built computers before so I am semi-competent with taking apart electronics.
