Replacing a Gameboy Light whole screen

[Released: 1989] The Game Boy is Nintendo's second handheld system following the Game & Watch series. Despite many other technologically superior handheld consoles introduced during its lifetime, the Game Boy was a tremendous success.

Replacing a Gameboy Light whole screen

Hey guys. I have a Gameboy Light all stock, original. The og screen is dying and half of the horizontal and vertical lines are dead. The blue bg light is fine.
I've searched for replacements but to no avail. One guy said that the screen is the same as the GB Pocket.
Is this true? Can I replace it without mods or hardware tweaks? Will it look exact the same, retain the blue bg glow?
