PSP stuck in loading after booting

So as the title implies, my psp is stuck in an eternal loading after booting it. I have been running CFW, but i don't remember which version because i have not been using it due to me not wanting to. I searched the problem up, and i found out about holding select+start+square+triangle while booting to format flash1 (or 0 i'm not quite sure) but even after that the problem still persists.
Any help on what's happening?
My psp's model is PSP-1004
