Mario: The Lost Levels

[Released: 1990] The SNES was the best-selling console of the 16-bit era despite its relatively late start and the fierce competition it faced. The console was able to run some of the first three-dimensional video games on consoles, beginning with Star Fox.

Mario: The Lost Levels

Post by /snes »

Having just completed SMB3 in the all stars package, I can confidently say this is now one of my all time fav games, specially because of the difficulty. Other Mario games are a walk in the park, but this game had tons of technical challenge which really endeared me to it
Recently I heard that SMB: the lost levels were so challenging, that it wasn’t even released in the States. Has anyone here played it? Is it really that bad? How do the Lost Levels (and difficulty) compare to SMB3?
And most importantly, is it a good time?
Thanks!
