Xbox Disc drive not resitting right.

After modding my og Xbox I'm trying to put everything back together. The disc drive for whatever reason will not sit right, meaning I can not close the system. It goes down most of the way, but not all the way. It seems like a problem with the front part on the left side. On the right side it will sit properly all the way down. It seems like something is blocking it on the left side from fully going down all the way.
I've tried for an hour and half to try and put this thing back together with no luck. When I try to put the top back on it makes it where the disc drive doesn't even open anymore.
Anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong here? It closed fine before I opened the system.
