Pokémon Stadium 2 on Everdrive X7?

I’m looking to buy an Everdrive but I have some questions about playing Pokémon Stadium 2. I’ve heard old models have issues saving, but that the X3 solved this issue. Did it remained fixed in the most recent model? Also, would I be able to transfer Pokémon from a legitimate Pokémon GBC cartridge to the game with a transfer pack? Thank you in advance.
