Does anyone know how to replace music from 64dd games?

I have been trying to use n64soundtool to replace a song from F zero x expansion, but every time I load rom it instantly crashes and cannot proceed further. I wanted to add rendezvous of ghost song over credits or mute city. It would be cool if someone knew how to do this.
