PSone disc spins for a bit and stops

[Released: 1994] Sony entered into an agreement with Nintendo to develop a CD-ROM attachment, for the Super Nintendo. Due to contractual problems it was never released, and instead, a modified version was introduced by Sony called the PlayStation.

PSone disc spins for a bit and stops

My psone cant read the disc as the drive dont spin continuously. I tried swaping it to another unit and it still works. So there might be something in the board that is broken. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
