Red light turns on but nothing else happens..

So I bought a broken SNES console to try and fix it. It’s the 1993 one. I know it gets power because the red light turns on, but I can’t get anything else to happen after I enter either of my 2 cartridges. I cleaned off the corrosion and dust under the pin connector but it still doesn’t work.
Could the connector possibly still be bad? Otherwise there’s a bit of flux residue left on the board. I wonder if that could be shorting some connections or maybe even some of the caps might not hold a charge anymore.
Just looking for some ideas if you’ve worked on them before
