Why in the holy hell do I like Castlevania 3?

I'm serious. I don't know. The game is very unfair to the point where most would rage quit and\or break their controller. I myself am not an exception. Don't get me wrong. The game is very doable up until the later levels where the enemy placements are hard to navigate and the damage you take is really high. I've now beaten the game four times getting each ending. Something about it kept me coming back for more.
